About Roots and Earth
Welcome to Roots & Earth, a warm and nurturing space where children, young people and adults are supported to grow, reflect, connect and flourish.
My name is Rosie and I offer a range of therapeutic services for children, young people and adults, including play therapy, therapeutic art and pottery, and nature based well being sessions.
In addition I am now able to offer therapeutic alternative provision sessions to children who are struggling in mainstream school.
Play Therapy Sessions
If your child is suffering from stress, anxiety, low self esteem, or the effects of trauma or family separation then Play Therapy can help.
Therapeutic Art and Pottery
Therapeutic art and pottery sessions offer individuals opportunities to gently reconnect with your inner self, through the creative process. Using a range of art and clay based activities that encompass nature where possible, I will guide you to look inward and help you feel grounded, connected and empowered.
Nature Well Being Sessions
Our nature wellbeing sessions offer a gentle space to slow down, reconnect, and be nourished by the natural world. Through creativity, nature connection, and shared experiences as a group, we explore the powerful relationship between art and nature, supporting wellbeing, self-expression, and a deeper sense of belonging – both within ourselves and the world around us.
Therapeutic Alternative Provision
Our art based one-to-one therapeutic alternative provision offers a nurturing, creative space for children who are struggling to access mainstream education, helping them reconnect with themselves, build confidence and rediscover a love of learning.
